Vinod Gupta has been in the news for all the right reasons. He is an entrepreneur who came from a humble background in New Delhi to a well-known businessman. He spent most of his childhood in a village that at that time did not have any social or modern amenities. That did not stop him from being ambitious enough to chase his dreams. He completed his high school education within the same village. Although seemingly coming from an impoverished town his family sacrificed for him to go to college and earned a bachelors in technology certification in Kharagpur India.
As luck would be in his side, he received a graduate assistantship as well as being admitted into the University of Nebraska where he studied Engineering and got a master’s degree in his current field which is business administration. Vinod Gupta works at Everest Group and currently holds the position of manager at the firm. He admits to always wanting to be successful and following that vision from his childhood he is now investing not only for financial gain but to be able to fend for his family, community as well as the neighborhood.
According to him, funding does not always mean providing a tremendous amount of cash to profitable companies or those that have been in business for the longest. He claims that a large percentage of investing lies in coming up with the most effective long-term impacts that it will garner over time. See This Page for related information.
His is not only about business but contributes extensively towards charitable causes. He has primarily had a profound passion for supporting women’s education. This does not come as a surprise as his father instilled the need of education as well as the benefits that come out of it. Vinod Gupta prides himself for killing two birds with one stone as he invests in companies which are dedicated towards the common good as well as making a living out of it.
Vinod Gupta granted an interview to Gazette Day, a digital publication known for its high-profile, top-quality interviews, in late May 2018 – he included Effective Business Lessons for aspiring businessmen and entrepreneurs who wanted to succeed in the world of business like himself.
