Julia Jackson is the daughter of Jess Jackson, an archetype in the wine sector and founder of the paramount Jackson Family Wines. She was born in 1988 and grew up in Sonoma wineries. She developed a passion for wine at a young age, and this was evident as she enjoyed picking and sorting grapes. Jess taught his children the ropes of the business when they were still young.

Julia’s Education Background and Career in the Wine Industry

Julia Jackson joined Scripps College in 2006 and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. After graduating, Julia’s father saw it fit for her to travel to France and make wine. That was the beginning of her career in the wine industry. Working at the cellar made her appreciate the efforts that the wine crew puts into the work.

Julia has been serving as the spokesperson of Cambria Estates of the Jackson Family Wines since September 2010. She is a clear definition of the next generation of the industry and unlike the trait of other millennials, she gladly sticks to the traditional wine processing that her family is associated with. Julia loves working with the different brands under the firm. She says that her mother is her role model since she runs the firm intelligently.

Julia Jackson’s parents were partners in the business throughout the union as his father believed in her mother. The Jackson Family Wines has a longstanding reputation of sustainable farming and manufacturing products that are of high quality including La Crema, Murphy-Goode, Freemark Abbey, Matanzas Creek, Stonestreet, and Cambr. The Jackson Family has heavily invested in the Oregon Wine that is outshining the more established competitors.

About the Cambria Seeds of Empowerment

In 2014, Julia Jackson established the Cambria Seeds of Empowerment to celebrate ladies who have endured the hardships of life and are encouraging other women in the society to do so. This program awards cash grants of USD 100,000 each year to nonprofits which epitomize the program’s pillars. Julia emphasizes that being successful in the wine industry that is dominated by men is a tough task.

Other than working at the family’s wine company, Julia co-founded Rex Apps in 2013. On the side, she collects art and supports artists. She is very hardworking and the future of the wine industry.
